I love how close Carowinds is and it's nice having the 24-hours convenience store basically in the front yard so you can just walk over and get anything you might want/need if you can't find it in one of the vending machines. I most appreciate that pets stay at no additional charge (up to 2 pets, must be trained and behaved of course!) AND it's a rare gem of a hotel as it still has SMOKING ROOMS AVAILABLE!!!! There really are just so many reasons this will be my go-to choice of place to stay anytime our family is over-nighting in the Carowinds area even though it's not as "fancy" as some of the other hotels in the area but the staff is excellent, attentive, responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, etc. Overall great experience

Wonderful staff, everyone of the staff members we spoke to during our stay was very nice, friendly, knowledgeable about local restaurants and other things to do in the area besides just Carowinds. I absolutely LOVE that pets stay free as long as they are well behaved and clean. My favorite thing though was definitely that this hotel still offers smoking rooms!!!!!

The staff was more than wonderful. They was awesome. Getting to the hotel location was easy. The room was very very clean. No issues. The location was great. Hotel not far from the Spectrum Center. My next trip to Charlotte I would stay at again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I was looking for an inexpensive place to lay my head. My expectations were low but honestly it was the staff that surprised me. Each and every one of them were extremely kind and helpful. I stayed 5 days and each day I was greeted and treated respectfully.

The staff was very nice and very helpful the housekeepers was with friendly and they have been doing a wonderful job on keeping the rooms clean the towels are nice and white no stains the sheets are nice and white no stains perfect
